In fantastic news for Plympton residents, Labour-run Plymouth City Council have approved not one but two plans for the development of play areas in the area.

Open spaces for children are vitally important as they provide the space for children to exercise, socialise and develop key skills. The provision of appropriate spaces for young people has also been shown to reduce antisocial behaviour within communities as well as delivering a number of other benefits.

The two approved developments are near the Downview Way (above) and Redwood Drive (below) areas and will feature a number of excellent facilities including a zip-wire and spinner bowls as well as a general re-vamp of existing equipment.
